At a time when stories can either divide or unite, Public Awareness Theater Productions, Inc. is using the transformative power of film to inspire action, shift perspectives, and heal communities. Wecreate social impact films that give voice to the voiceless, elevate truth, and ignite conversations that matter. Through powerful storytelling, we confront some of the most urgent challenges facing our world today.

We are reaching out to invite you to join us in this meaningful journey—as a corporate partner or individual change agent—to support films that aren’t just watched, but felt, remembered, and acted upon.

These successful stage plays have been presented across the United States and for various populations. The stage plays are being adapted to film. Our current priority is to acquire funding to produce “One Child’s Prayer”. (Child Abuse). Each film is created with the intention to inform, uplift, and provoke lasting change. Your support helps fund not just production, but also the community outreach, screenings, educational workshops, and policy conversations that follow.

The following provides the levels of corporate sponsorships and the incentives offered for your support. In the event that you prefer to give as an individual, we are also providing levels of sponsorship as an individual change agent. We hope that you will choose to join with us at as either a corporate sponsor, individual sponsor, or both. Statistics show that the community responds to storytelling.

Why Film?

Films and media are among the most influential tools for raising awareness, with 72% of viewers reporting an increased understanding of social issues after watching socially conscious films. “The Color Purple” (1985) raised awareness about domestic violence, increasing calls to domestic violence hotlines by 30% after its release. “Precious” (2009) brought child abuse to the forefront and was credited with inspiring more than 200,000 online searches for child protection resources after its release. The film I Can Only Imagine (2018) allowed us to see transformation can happen.

Together, we can turn storytelling into a force for transformation. Your sponsorship is not just a donation—it’s a declaration of your commitment to justice, hope, and humanity.

From The Audience

Public Awareness Theater  came to our Job Corps Center to present the play  Sunset High. The play dealt with issues our youth deal with on a daily basis. Our students really enjoyed the performance.

Our Upward Bound students were deeply touched by the play The First Semester. The performance gave our students the type of reinforcement needed to look at the choices, decisions, and evaluate consequences that we as individuals face every day.

The productions Sunset High and Love Doesn’t Have to Hurt have been presented at Ebenezer. If you are looking for a “game-changer” in your efforts to serve humanity, let me personally recommend Public Awareness Theater as a critical tool which serves the present age.

The students and faculty at Shivers Junior High and Aberdeen High School really enjoyed the play Sunset High, performed by Public Awareness Theater. It provided our student the opportunity to view social and cultural kills of our society in a dramatic way.

The play, Sunset High, is an effective portrayal of challenges that many youths face today. I, along with students appreciated the tragicomic style of the play in that it conveyed a serious message that was mixed with a strand of comedy.

Public Awareness Theater has been performing on the campus of Coahoma Community College since 1993. Love Doesn’t Have To Hurt  was powerful, and some students confessed that the play mirrored their current  or past situations.

Our chapter collaborated with Public Awareness Theater in hosting the original stage play Love Doesn’t Have To Hurt. The play served as an opportunity to raise awareness regarding domestic violence, as well as a fundraiser for our organization.  We were entertained by a stellar production company, with passionate acting, and a compelling story.
