Dr. Lance Edmond Brown

A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dr. Lance Edmond Brown is an ordained minister and retired member of the Louisiana Conference of the United Methodist Church. He is married to the Reverend Dr. Patricia A. Turner-Brown.

Dr. Brown is a graduate of Concordia University (Bachelor of Arts), Gammon Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity) in Atlanta, GA, and Ecumenical Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry) in Detroit, Michigan, focusing on creative financing and fundraising for the church.

Founded in 1984, Dr. Brown is the founder/owner of Public Awareness Theatre Productions, Inc., an extension of his ministry to all people. He is the playwright, producer, and director of six successful national touring stage productions-One Child’s Prayer, I’m Saved, The First Semester, Love Doesn’t Have to Hurt, Sunset Hight, and Circle of Love.  These productions have been presented in 39 states for military bases, colleges and universities, Department of Labor Job Corp Centers, civic organizations, sororities, and churches.

Dr. Brown has earned a reputation as a credible and excellent businessman of impeccable character. He believes that a serving ministry meets the needs of the people, regardless of denomination, race, or creed. His mottos are “Separate yourself from foolish people and foolish things” and “Don’t let anyone steal your dreams.
